Unique Access to Music

A new piece of hardware in the form of an exclusive secure chipset has been integrated into the DJ controllers to ensure they meet Amazon Music streaming requirements. The advantage of this integration, and that with other popular streaming services, is the sheer amount of high-quality music available in an instant to DJs. With the in-built Wi-Fi and onboard song analysis, this combination makes for a super-quality, creative and diverse DJ set.

Standalone, Workflows and Creative Mixing

The SCLIVE2 is standalone and features wireless connectivity, providing freedom and flexibility without needing a laptop. The features, layout and workflow are derived from the professional club standard SC6000 PRIME media players and club-style mixers. The DJ controller is a powerful, compact, intuitive standalone 2-deck unit that provides ultimate live performance creative control.

The SC LIVE 2 features a 7-inch multi-gesture touchscreen, three media slots, 6-inch high-resolution jog wheels and onboard speakers with independent volume control. The four Performance Pads on each deck are robust and durable and can be used to control various modes such as Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Manual Loop, Slicer, Roll and Slicer Loop. The performance pads can go from four to eight using the Bank button. In addition, there are numerous onboard effects, including four Sweep FX with a dedicated knob on each channel to adjust FX and Filter blends, and thirteen BPM FX options that can be altered within the FX Control section, which includes Time/Parameter control, Channel Assignment switch, FX level encoder and illuminated engagement button.

In-built Speakers

High-quality speakers built into the DJ Controller are powerful and provide the perfect sound for creating, live-streaming and performing. In addition, a dedicated volume knob and an on/off switch offer the user complete control.

Lighting Integration

The Denon DJ SC LIVE 2 provides control over visuals during a performance thanks to the advanced Engine DJ operating system integrating with Engine Lighting. From the touch of a button, DJs can access beat-synced light shows instantly for saved or streamed tracks. The lighting that can be controlled is Philips Hue, DMX and Nanoleaf and further adjustments within them such as colour, strobe, intensity and more can be made.
